As part of the 'Interactive Design' module in the 3rd semester, an app was created that allows a hotel guest to compose his or her breakfast the day before. In a playful way, the guest is asked to indicate his or her food preferences so that the hotel kitchen can better and more accurately calculate the amount of food for the breakfast buffet.
The idea was born out of the problem that a lot of food is wasted at hotel breakfast buffets, much of it due to inaccurate calculations.
There were no comparable apps at the time. They only appeared during the coronavirus pandemic.
